We are taking inspiration from this season’s top trends, including the bold burgundys, beautiful bows and strong stripes that are being seen both on the catwalks and in the home.
There are so many easy ways that we can incorporate this season’s looks into our Christmas decorations to create gorgeous, fabulous and fun schemes.
My simple but striking door wreath, using a combination of shop-bought, ready-made bows and those I tied myself.
This year, there are now plenty of ready-made bows available in many of the well-known supermarkets and high street stores.
If you prefer to create your own, there are lots of wonderful ribbon and fabric options available in local fabric shops, haberdashers, charity shops, or there is always that well-known online shop that offers next-day delivery!
If you need guidance on your bow tying, head over to YouTube, Instagram or TikTok for some handy tutorials.

Bows are a simple and effective way to add colour, interest and an element of fun to your Christmas door wreaths, stair garlands and mantel displays.
They also look beautiful on the Christmas tree and are an easy but pretty way to add interest to the Christmas table.
Pop the bows on the stems of the wine glasses, or around your candlesticks and your table setting is instantly elevated.
Stripes can be added with serviettes, table runners, candles, baubles and crackers!

Have fun decking the halls and trimming the tree this year, and remember, decorating the house isn’t just for Christmas!
