March Newsletter
Hi
So we have put the shortest yet somehow one of the longest months behind us (thank goodness for the pancakes!)
I am definitely ready for some warmer weather and feeling inspired to start the Spring cleaning of the inside and outside spaces – pressure washing is incoming – can’t wait to get the Pink Pergola looking gorgeous again!

I had a quick look in B&Ms this week and it did not disappoint; lots of great options to help with the spring clean with brilliant home organisation goodies, some fab outdoor dining ranges and amazing garden accessories – well worth a visit.
I’ll pop it all into highlights on my Instagram account, so if you missed it you can have a look. (Do let me know if a little Instagram training would be of help too?).
Talking of home organisation, I’ve written a new blog on utility rooms so pop over to my website and have a read!

I revisited My Higher Lane project to take some pictures after it’s completion. The brief here was to create a stylish sanctuary away from the hustle and bustle of a busy household.

Lots happening at the Cook Rees project; the crittall style windows, cast iron radiators and reclaimed doors are in the process of being ordered – I’m very excited about this aspect of the project and can’t wait to see the final results.
I had a fab discovery meeting with a lovely new client and am very much looking forward to helping them transform two of their spaces. Will share when I have more details.
If you are still unsure about how I can help you and what I actually do, I’ve done a little write-up that was featured in the last issue of the Mumbles Times.

So if you struggle with choosing a paint colour, don’t know where to start, don’t have the time for all that scrolling, let me do the hard work for you!
SHOPPING EDIT
I am absolutely loving seeing all the daffodils and spring flowers around and am definitely looking forward to spending more time in the garden, so I thought I would share a shopping edit of some beautiful outdoor furniture this month.
This fabulous corner sofa looks super sophisticated and is at a really good price point
This Lois table and chairs look gorgeous in this amazing shade of teal but are also available in natural and black tones if you prefer a more muted vibe
This simple yet striking garden coffee table comes in 3 fabulous colours, definitely high up on my wish list! They also do a gorgeous little nest of tables and a dining bench set in the Lois range, happy shopping!
Here’s to looking forward to sunny garden days!
Please get in touch if you have any questions at all and let me know if you want to book a discovery meeting.

February Newsletter
Hi
A belated Happy New Year to you all, January usually drags by but that certainly didn’t feel like the case this year, it’s been a busy one.
PROJECT UPDATES
It was an exciting finish to the year with the completion of the Bellevue project just before Christmas. The hallway and front room underwent a complete makeover and the space was truly elevated into an elegant and sophisticated space.
This was the first time the Clients had used an interior designer and they were thrilled with the results;
“Highly recommend! Never done anything like this before, Cat talked us through the options with no pressure and was flexible in meeting us around our schedule. She very quickly got a feel for what we liked and the mood boards reflected this. Cat kept in regular contact, updating us and she also popped in regularly to monitor standards and check progress after coordinating all the tradespeople. So pleased with the result and will definitely be engaging her services in the future!”

Look out for a full write-up of the process in the next issue of The Mumbles Times on February 16th. I’ll share on my website and the next newsletter for those of you not local to Mumbles
The Full Home ‘Cook Rees’ project is moving ahead with the majority of the final decisions being made before the work starts. Lots of lovely reclaimed doors going in, which will make the space far more flexible and will add wonderful warmth, texture and interest.

STORAGE SOLUTIONS
Adding Storage has been an important part of both these projects and it’s one of my obsessions. Often overlooked when planning a space but SUCH an important factor to consider. I’ve written a blog about hallway storage solutions which you can find over on my website – please feel free to contact me for a chat about all things storage.
SHOPPING EDIT
I have been keeping up my Interior shopping edits whilst doing my daughter’s drama run on a Wednesday night, make sure to follow my Socials to get regular updates on stories.
Unfortunately, the local Homesense is due to close in March which I am absolutely devastated about, I love having a browse and finding and sharing inspiration. It will have to be BandMs and Dunelm from now on with the occasional trek to Homesense and of course the local charity shops too.
Here are some of my current favourite finds in Dunelm
The Santiago lamp looks really sophisticated and looks great styled up on a side table.
The Dahria rug comes in gorgeous tones and has a really timeless elegant look
The Worsley dining table would look sensational in the right space and is available in 2 sizes
